Lots of catching up to do

It has been a long time. Not sure where to start…
First, there is a picture update in the Julia Gallery. Lots of stuff from July and a ton of pics from our North Carolina vacation in early August.
Julia did great on the plane. She slept most of the four flights, and only had about 10 minutes of crankiness on the final flight from Charlotte to Newark on the 12th. During the stay in North Carolina, she only had one bad episode (in the car), but she woke up a lot in the middle of the night. She seemed to open up a lot during the trip, and it was great to expose her to her crazy cousins. At first, she was very observant, not reacting at all to them really.
By the end of the week, she was smiling at all of them. She really liked to chase them around (being held in Daddy’s arms) the condo. They were great with her too, not getting upset when she pulled their hair or hit them.
She really loved the water. She got to swim in a pool and wade in the ocean for the first team, and she couldn’t get enough of it. There are some great pics of her playing in the ocean with Mommy and Daddy.
Up until two nights ago, she had slept through the night for the last week or so. The last two nights though, she has woken up around 3 or 3:30 and had a tough time getting back to sleep. This may be because her first tooth is starting to break through. Hopefully, that’s the case, and she will get back into the habit of sleeping through the night again soon. She doesn’t usually sleep all the way until 6:00, but we can’t really complain with her sleeping from 8:30 to 5:30 or so.
She is talking a lot more lately. It’s more like squeeling. When she gets in a groove, I think she likes to see how loud she can squeel. She says “bwah” a lot too. She is very active and pretty much impossible to keep still. The only time she’s not really jumpy is the first few minutes after a nap.
Hopefully, I can get into the habit of updating this more often. With the new job and more time at home, I have less of an excuse for the infrequent updates.
